"Where'd You Find That?!": An Illustrated Discography of the (Almost) Unique

Chosen Few - Joke's On Us 7" alternate sleeve

The bassist of the Chosen Few, Ian Cunningham, designed about five or six sleeve designs for their 1978 self-released single:

1. A striding Hitler with appropriate thought balloon ("The Chosen Few are a Gas!!!)
2. A bunch of dead bodies on a gallows, with the name of the band superimposed
3. The drummer, Cal, holding up a sign with the band name on it
4. Two or three versions of the cover that eventually emerged, with a band pic and band name

The band members rejected all the other designs, and none still exist, except for a handful of the drummer holding the sign design. The back cover (not pictured) is a very rough sketch that was intended to just give an idea of what the finished product would look like. From the collection of Ryan Richardson.
