"Where'd You Find That?!": An Illustrated Discography of the (Almost) Unique

Hugh Beaumont Experience - Cone Johnson 7" promo sleeve (Cygnus Records, 1981)

With only two known copies in collections, the astericked promo sleeve for the HBE single is one of the rarest KBD punk sleeve variations. Both copies have promo stickers on the labels, but not all promos came with this sleeve. Stickered promos in the standard sleeve also exist. A third copy is pictured in the Volume 2 book, but its current whereabouts are unknown.

The copy pictured below is from the Roger Mah Archives of Santa Monica, California. A scan of the regular sleeve is pictured to the right.
